Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s wantaway midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer.
The Frenchman is out of contract at the end of the season and has seemingly been frozen out of the first-team squad by manager Thomas Tuchel.
Rabiot hasn’t played for PSG since December 11 when he came on as a late second-half substitute in a routine Champions League win at Red Star Belgrade.
And, according to Spanish outlet AS, United have now emerged as the latest Premier League team to show an interest in the 23-year-old.
United are seemingly on the lookout to bolster their midfield ranks following Marouane Fellaini’s move to the Chinese Super League this month.
But, despite facing an uncertain future with PSG, manager Thomas Tuchel has decided to include the midfielder in his Champions League squad for the knockout stages.
The playmaker has featured in all but one of the Ligue 1 giants’ European encounters so far this campaign and Tuchel has opted to include him in his 23-man squad.
Ironically, PSG face United in the Champions League round of 16, with the first leg due to be played at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
