Emmerdale viewers beg bosses to end Graham Foster storyline after Joe Tate death twist

Emmerdale fans were left begging show bosses to end the unexplained Joe Tate death storyline, still unsure if he really died.

Joe, played by actor Ned Porteous, was killed off in a twist in October, with Graham Foster appearing to kill him while pinning the blame on Cain Dingle.

While a select few know his fate, his body has never been found with many still in the dark about what happened to Joe, believing he left the village.

But while fans were told the character was dead, they’re not all convinced with the ITV soap still not exactly confirming his fate.

Graham Foster told Kim Tate that Cain Dingle was the killer

Thursday’s episode saw Kim Tate learn from Graham that Cain was behind Joe’s death.

Viewers obviously know this is a lie and were a little confused why Graham wouldn’t just tell villain Kim the truth.

With fans yet again toyed with the potential for a return from Joe, they took to Twitter admitting they were “tired” of the confusing storyline.

Asking the soap to just tell them whether Joe was dead or not, they begged bosses to stop with the mixed messages.

One fan said: “Someone PLEASE confirm whether Joe is dead or not. I’m tired of this.”

Another tweeted: “Please #Emmerdale end the endless "is he dead?" crap!! @emmerdale.”

Kim ordered Graham to murder Joe last year

A third commented: “Did Graham lie about Cain to hide the fact he is secretly protecting Joe or is he telling the truth I just need to know.”

Debbie Dingle recently learned Joe’s fate and has turned against her father Cain, while neither of them know it was actually Graham that murdered her fiancé.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV followed by an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
