Spare a thought for Prince William .
He may live a life of untold privilege but, in many ways, parenthood is one of life’s great levellers – and there’s one parenting task which the Duke of Cambridge struggles to do.
Even with the assistance of a live-in nanny, Kate and Wills like to be a hands-on parents – something which has earned them a lot of praise.
They’ll do the school run, take the mini Cambridges on outings and are openly affectionate with their young brood.
But there’s one task which Prince William admits to not being fan of.
It’s nothing to do with dirty nappies or calming a screaming baby down at 3am either.
On a recent trip to Blackpool earlier this month, William was chatting to a fellow dad, who admitted that he’d had difficulty learning how to do his daughter’s hair.
Apparently, Wills was able to wholeheartedly relate to this.
"Never try to do a ponytail!” he agreed, People reports . "Nightmare."
Kate then turned to her husband and was heard asking, "Have you tried to do a plait ? It’s the weaving…really hard."
"I can do [ Princess Charlotte’s] ponytail, but that’s about it as I don’t have enough hair to practise on!"
Well, we can’t argue with that…
